In 1995 YAMAHA Motor Corporation introduced its 1st motorized product — the YA-1 motorcycle, a 125 cc, 2-stroke, single-cylinder, street bike — nicknamed “The Red Dragonfly,” produced & sold in Japan. The company’s powertrain technology is implemented in such fields as marine engines, recreational vehicles & other power products, while its Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) processing expertise is used for pool manufacturing and personal vehicle exteriors.
