June 1, 2023 — The Linux Foundation speaks up  — along with Open Invention Network & Unified Patents’ executives — about the proposed rules issued by the U.S. Patent Trademark Office (USPTO) that will help patent trolls, raise patent litigation expenses and increase the volume of patent litigation. The blog explains how important it is to make your voice heard about protecting our Open Source ecosystem, reducing wasteful litigation by Non-Practicing Entities (NPEs), and stopping the assertion of bad patents.
