Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game holding company and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in Tokyo that develops, publishes, distributes and licenses games.

The company — established in 2003 — is best known for its Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts role-playing video game franchises, which collectively, have sold over 250 million copies.  Square Enix also publishes the games Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and Just Caus; owns an arcade gaming corporation Taito, known for games such as Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble and Darius; sells merchandise and manages Gangan Comics. The company employs over 5,000 people worldwide.
