July 28, 2020 – UNISOC is part of the Tsinghua Group — the 2nd largest fabless chip supplier in China — and global leader in mobile communications and IoT chipsets. The enterprise follows a move made by Huawei, the owner of HiSilicon (China’s #1 fabless semiconductor) which joined Open Invention Network (OIN) earlier this year. UNISOC has joined OIN as another way to demonstrate its commitment to “Becoming the Backbone of the Digital World.”
