April 16, 2021 – DJI — which stands for Da-Jiang Innovations and means Great Frontier Innovations — lets humans go into the beyond and redefine flying with First-Person-View (FPV) Unmanned Arial Vehicles (drones) powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company also manufactures virtual goggles, cameras, propulsion and flight control systems. Its latest invention is the DJI Mini 2, a drone small enough to fit in the palm of a hand but still powerful enough to capture 4K video at 30 frames per second and 12-megapixel images. DJI — a Chinese-based company with international facilities — accounts for approximately 70% of the world’s consumer drone market as reported in March 2020 and its technologies are widely used in the music, television and film industries, as well as militaries and police forces.
