\"Qt (pronounced officially as cute /_kju_t/, though commonly as Q.T. /_kju__ti_/[3][4]) is a cross-platform application framework that is widely used for developing application software with graphical user interface (GUI) (in which case Qt is referred to as a widget toolkit when used as such), and also used for developing non-GUI programs such as command-line tools and consoles for servers. Qt is most notably used in Autodesk [5][6], Google Earth, KDE, Adobe Photoshop Album, the European Space Agency [7], OPIE, Skype, VLC media player, Samsung [8], Philips [9], Panasonic [10] and VirtualBox. It is produced by Nokia's Qt Development Frameworks division, which came into being after Nokia's acquisition of the Norwegian company Trolltech, the original producer of Qt.[11]\"
