Node-RED is a visual programming tool for IoT applications. It is one of the tools under the Node-RED project managed by OpenJS Foundation. On the Node-RED flow editor, users just connect nodes (npm modules provided by community) in the processing order. Because users are able to create their IoT applications rapidly without coding, the tool is mainly valuable for PoC phase. Currently, Node-RED community is developing v1.0 for production use.
